Xavier W. Parreno, MD, is an internal medicine physician with over ten years of experience. In addition to heading the clinic, Doctor Parreno also sees inpatients at Vista East Medical Center, takes care of patients at the Sheridan Nursing Home, Terrace Nursing Home, Rolling Hills Nursing Home and Glenlake Terrace Nursing Home. Doctor Parreno coordinates health care with several local home care agencies and volunteers his services at HealthReach, a free clinic in Waukegan. He is a primary care physician/hospitalist for the Ann Kiley Center. He is preceptor for medical students from Rosalind Franklin University, as well as preceptor for the Nurse practitioners program from Rush University. Monica Parreno is the clinic's office manager. She brings with her 29 years of health care experience in this industry. She runs the day to day aspects of the business including management of staff, verifying of patients records, bookkeeping, vendor management and is here to assist you with any of your billing or insurance issues. Our Clinica was founded by Dr. Parreno in 2005 after having gained experience over the first years of working in two other local practices. At first he had only a few patients, but as his reputation grew, so did his practice. Mission Trip

Panama Mission Trip February 5-12, 2011 to Colon Panama. The mission included several area internist, dentist, oral surgeon, obstretrics and gynecologist, chiropractor, pharmacist, pediatrician, family practice, pastor, nurses and a host of other volunteers. Our Mission trip served over 2000 patients during a period of 4 days. Two villages, 2 nursing homes, an orphanage, the city of Colon and the United Methodist Church of Colon.
